Hey, I'm looking for a $200-$250ish monitor for CS:GO.

 

Any recommendations?

I would recommend the BenQ XL2430T, not sure of the price in the U.S. I picked mine up for $670 fuck New Zealand prices!!!

Is there a notable difference between 120hz and 144hz? I would rather not spend more than I need to.

That is a good monitor,  but it is still $399.99 US dollars

That Asus one is meant to be really good as well, if you can afford $260 go for it

I am not 100% sure,  I would think maybe a bit,  but not much.  It is a great monitor for the price with 144hz and a 1ms response time.  It will definitely be the best thing you could get for CS:GO gaming.

Exactly, after using my BenQ XL2430T for a while I tried playing csgo on my dell ips shit response time @60 Hz. It truly looked like it was running at 20 fps
