PC off and on Lag

Trazym

When I first downloaded a game called Trove it ran perfectly with no lag. about 3 weeks later which is now, it lags a little bit. I don't know if it is because I downloaded some other games in between or what. I am asking for why it is doing this and what I can do to prevent it. It's not just that game it does it with all my games.

I recently got a new pc and the same happend to me too altough, not to that extreme. I noticed very slight frame loss, about 1-2 frames which is not much but still. I always say that it's hardware degredation but it shouldn't be the case since the pc is about 6 days old now.

I would advise both of you to try these four fixes and tell me how it went.

  1. Turn off FXAA
  2. Turn off VSYNC
  3. Turn off tripple buffering
  4. Use Nvidia Inspector, if you use Nvidia GPUs, to set already tested game profiles.

No, it is in the Nvidia Control panel.....Right click the desktop and click the Nvidia Control Panel and that will open up then you go to 3D setting on the top left then Adjust Image Settings  With Preview then make sure you have Use the advanced 3D Image Settings underneath the spinning Nvidia logo then click Take me there to go to the Manage 3D Settings page and configure your GPU settings there.

The Manage 3D settings page will look like this
