*Right click on desktop* Personalize > Colors 

 

Turn on "Show color on Start, taskbar and action center".

Lucky you already have Windows 10.... I did not even get the option to reserve it.

i cant find turn on show color

It's located in the "Colors" tab near the bottom under the accent color selection.

also should I uninstall my drivers for my gpu right now? I am installing the win 10 version

I ran Disk Cleanup and deleted my entire previous windows installation. It may have been a foolish decision, but Win 10 is running excellent thus far.

 

Worse comes to worst I will reinstall Win 7 as I had freshly installed it in order to reserve Win 10 (icon wasn't appearing).

ok well i just uninstalled the win 8.1 and installing win 10 right now
