My webcam won't work with skype

I just got my new logitech c920 and it works amazing in OBS but in skype it doesn't work. It will detect it but when I try to turn it on, nothing happens. I've installed drivers and restarted my computer and everything. Can anyone help? Thanks

If you have obs running, and try to use the webcam with both programs at the same time, it won't work. Webcams only can be used on one program at a time.

this might be the problem..if you are trying to do 2 streams at the same time

uninstall skype

reboot

reinstall newest skype
