Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns

Is anyone getting the expansion? I just threw $99.99 for the ultimate edition. One of my most played games with over a couple thousand hours in it. I will probably giveaway the extra copy of Guild Wars 2 since I already own it.

Always wanted to try guild wars but never got to. Is it fun?

I wanted to try guild wars, but it comes to my understanding that there is really no end game content, or should I say the end game isn't done as well as other mmo's.
Otherwise I would jump on this game.

I love it. So my opinion is biased. Yes, it is fun.

You should try it. The story is on going. Yes, there is end game content besides the story. World vs World is the best. I led my server to many victories when we were against all odds. I took the castle with only 20 players vs 150 and we won.

It really depends, my friends and I all think the end game is a bit lacking because we don't like pvp much and the pve is definitly lacking after you complete all the dungeons and fractals. It did keep me going for a while though, after that not much else to do unless you like pvp and all.

Well it is called guild wars, it's main focus is pvp, or guild vs guild.

At least gw1 was if I'm not wrong.

I didn't play much of gw2 though it felt Meh after awhile.

And I had log in issues, and still have if I'm not wrong.

Too bad theirs no guild content yet, that's why everyone's waiting for the expansion. Also in guild wars 1 they had a lot better end game, I mean they shouldn't focus just on pvp or they'll lose half their player base. I remember in guild wars 1 they had something very similar to fractals except they were a lot more rewarding and challenging.

I created a guild and my guild had 500 members in it which is max. The guild is abilities are lacking in the game but the expansion should add more to the game. I love the pvp side of GW 2.
