Tailcoat-week! A very funny and 90 year old tradition

The last three years I studied electrical engineering and now I'm finished with my bachelor study.


We have a very funny tradiotion to celebreat this event:


All graduates waer a tailcoat or a evening dress. And all guys the grow the beard for the last 100 days. Shaving was was a punishable offense.


 


When the 100 days are over there is a big party called "nigth of the technics". We make a tour with the selfmade wagon and have fun ;)


This was yesterday. It was brutel hot (35°C) so we drunk a lot of cold beer to cool us.


 


The climax of the event was that we all let shave our beards by the beautiful young females (heat studies located near our school).

And dam is that one party.Where I live they just give us a piece of paper stating you got you degree you family cries for 10 mins because of their happenies and it's over.Nobody will ever know you got that degree.Ever.

Actually we get the papers next Friday.

This event is fully organized by the students.

this looks like a hell of a lot of fun, classy and refined fun.

 

oddly enough, i'm going to be in geneva from tuesday until thursday visiting ATLAS at CERN

Oh yes the CERN. Never been there but one day I will.

There goes a LOT of work into an event like this. All wagons are MOT aproved, the buildings have adequat sized emergency exits, there is a path of the fire figthers and so on.

Just in case.

You should! It's a lot of fun.

But you have to be able to pull the attention of >60% of the students to make it great. I assume most of them will be to lazy to actually do something?
