Dodgy Internet

cianb215

Hi guys,

Having quite a few problems with my internet in a certain room. The room isn't particularly far from my router but just seems to always have bad connection. My WiFi won't download anything more than a few hundred KB's and is disastrous in terms of maintaining connection.

Currently have a TP Link 300 Mbps N PCI card running feeding straight from a stock Eircom (Irish Internet provider) Modem.

Have tried the TP Link Home Plug 200 Mbps (which works for the rest of my home), to no avail.

Also, I don't have Ethernet in the room and am not willing to rip up the house routing cables! :)

Just looking for a relatively cost effective solution to improve connection and download speeds

Regards,

Cian. :D

You could always get an access point. you can even get access points that are built in to some powerline adapters
