Consider looking at the Clevo P670SE. Your budget may be able to stretch to the P670SG which houses a 980M.  My bad, didn't notice the currency.

The HP Omen would be a pretty good option.  $1,999.99 CAD.  A little pricey for the specs, but it's ultra thin.  Asus ROG G551JM is pretty thin also, with decent specs.

You're supposed to customise it yourself lol. There's the P650SE if you don't mind a 15" screen.

P670SE would be your best bet, but it isn't as thin.

If you want thin, I hope you know what the performance and cooling downsides are. The GS70 is the best laptop in its thickness range (as all the clevo offerings are thicker)

I have finally moved to a desktop. Also my guides are outdated as hell.
