Need help - Strange requirement warning

EdwardRSA

Ok so for a couple of months I've been browsing monitors. I want to get a proper setup for my aspiring poker career. Maybe I can get some assistance from you guys.

The requirements:

- IPS

- Thin bezel
- 60hz is fine

- not for gaming purpose

- indecisive which on the size

- monitor will have to be shipped (taking volumetric weight into consideration - the heavier/bigger the monitor, the more shipping will cost          making it possibly less viable compared to others)

So I'm mostly just using my pc for online poker/research/browsing. I don't at all play games so I don't have a high refresh rate requirement. I'm indecisive on the size and the amount of monitors. For instance, whether I should just get one 27/8" 1440p/4k tn, wait a year and do a trip setup, or to do a trip setup now. Ideally i'd like one centered monitor and two vertical on each side for statistical purposes (with the center being solely used for multi-tabling). My preference is sitting quite close to the center monitor - if you like you can have a look at this setup, it should give you an idea of how I want it to look (although its dated tech) -

Originally I was looking to get the Dell U2517H but Dell doesn't ship the monitor internationally and absolutely cannot find anywhere that does (also not prepared to pay an exorbitant premium which conversely makes more expensive monitors more viable). The other one I was looking at was the Acer G257HU (well priced) but it lacks vesa compatibility and the stand sounds horrible. Also don't like the color scheme but I see newer model comes out in black instead of black/silver combo which looks cheap in that format IMO.

The samsung U28d590d is a good looking monitor IMO and well priced but it's TN and I'm not sure if I'll be disappointed in it (maybe someone can shed some light how bad the TN is). The Dell P2715Q is IPS but I don't really like the bezel size and feel they will be releasing a thin bezel model in the near future like the "U" range (which would make that one obsolete). Also with scaling issues on windows I really don't know if I'm going to have issues with my heads-up display software running with my poker client.

I'm really at a crossroads and have no idea what to do. I'd like to make at least one purchase this week as I can't continue to play on my current setup with ease. If need be I'll just buy a crappy 1080p monitor now and upgrade everything later if I don't find what I'm looking for

Any help would be great guys/gals.

Peace

Unfortunately it's not. I really like the design and versatility, the price is also not half bad. My main concern with it was whether I should have a bigger center monitor (27/28/31/32). I'm really so indecisive. It's difficult looking at pictures/videos online and getting a grasp of what your preference would be.

I saw the release of the Asus, it looks decent and as I understand it uses the same panel as the dell. I see it is available for international shipping.
