I'd swap the single 980 for dual 970s. Not much more price but a decent amount better performance. Don't forget a mechanical HDD of some nature.

Looks great! I'd recommend some more storage, however. A 1TB WD (reliable and fast) will run you $50 or so.

Depends where you are, in some countries dual 970s are significantly more expensive than a single 980.

Thank you for your input. I forgot to mention I have a 2TB one that will be used. Also, 1 980 for being able to upgrade in the future.

Where are you that dual 970s are significantly more expensive than a single 980? India or Australia?

USA.

For US I'd definitely look at the dual 970s over a single 980. Those will give you plenty of horsepower for games for the next 3 or 4 years

I would get a kraken x61 not sure why you chose an x41? Also if you want the best overclocking potential with great looks the maximus vii hero is the way to go. NOW BEFORE YOU GO SAYING ROG SUCKS ITS OVERPRICED. Look no further. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813132125R&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-PC&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-PC-_-pla-_-Intel+Motherboards-_-N82E16813132125R&gclid=CjwKEAjwjpeqBRCDiKqliK2aiicSJAAgKD2F0ez0yycf7BywxB98sEmZGsAVtA8SvtzSbprGcSFB6RoCcQ3w_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds

Christmas (; I'll probably get another 980 in the near future. And if I wanted to upgrade to another SLI, i'd have to buy 2 980's.

Ya feel?

x41, I'm actually not sure, probably got mixed up. And, why is that MOBO better for OCing?

There is very minimal difference in a mobo ability to overclock in the sub 5GHz range.

In otherwise it's no better for the average user to overclock with

Based of what I've read all over toms hardware and Linus tech tips forums people say its great for overclocking. Not really sure how but at that price you getting $200 Asus quality for ~$150. Honestly though I do think that's how much the board should cost. This way its not overpriced. As your mainly paying for aesthetics. Anyways Its about $20-$25 and I'd go for it as it would look better in your system.
