Getting a new case advice.

LuLWaT

Hey

So I am getting a new case and I think I have found one that I like, the Zalman Z11.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Zalman-Z11-Plus-Installation-Anti-Vibration/dp/B007C008L2

Does anyone know if the front USB 3.0 still uses passthrough or has been upgraded to an internal header? Does anyone have any experience with this case? Thanks!

What system will you be putting in there?

I'm not sure whether the Z11 is up to the scratch anymore, there are better quality options for the price but this does seem to be packed with features. Not a fan of the looks either if I'm honest but that's your choice, you'll be the one looking at it in the end :D

i5 4670k - Z87X-UD3H - EVGA GTX 670 Sig 2 - Samsung 840 Evo 250GB - 8GB Avexir Core White 1600Mhz - Corsair 750D w/ RGB LED Mod & Remote Control - 2x SP120 - 3x Enermax Cluster - 2TB Seagate SSHD - Arctic Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2 - SuperFlower Leadex Gold 750W

Could you tell me some other cases around the same price? It is gaming build that I already have set up. I'm just changing the case. :)

I do like the s340. Do you think that a disk drive is even necessary these days?

I don't know if you sent two of the same by mistake. I think I will stick with the zalman out of those.

So;

S340

BitFenix Ronin

Antec P100

Corsair 230T

Corsair 300R

i5 4670k - Z87X-UD3H - EVGA GTX 670 Sig 2 - Samsung 840 Evo 250GB - 8GB Avexir Core White 1600Mhz - Corsair 750D w/ RGB LED Mod & Remote Control - 2x SP120 - 3x Enermax Cluster - 2TB Seagate SSHD - Arctic Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2 - SuperFlower Leadex Gold 750W

It's personal choice really, they are both good at cooling. I'd go for the 300r though because it has space for a 450mm long gpu however the zalman does have more drive bays.

Hope this helps!

I really prefer the look of the Zalman, and it is cheaper. I have never built my own PC, but I am buying this to replace my current case. Do you think that the layout of the case will cause any troubles for a newbie like me?

Most other choices above, consider the Fractal Arc Midi R2 or the mini version if you are in the matx range.
