What 3D program to make scenery video? trees, boats, buildings, mountains.

So I wanted to make a video to play on my monitor that just has beautiful scenery with castles, waterfalls, and cities, ect, ect, ect.

I was thinking C4D as I am a little experienced in it, but wasn't sure if there was a better faster option?

For the video, I figured there would just be a camera flying around getting all these awesome angles and shots, then rendered out and put into a video so it isn't demanding.

THIS IS MY SUPER TEENY TINY SIGNATURE!

Ain't it just the cutest little signature.

Some would argue it is the cutest little signature ever.

Whichever program you choose it will take hundreds of hours to model the scene.

dependant on the amount of details you want i suggest using one you know best, this speeds up the process a bit and you know how the outcoming render will look like with textures and colours, basically everything will do.

May the light have your back and your ISO low.

TerraGen ( a little more specialised for scenery. You could build the scenery in TerraGen more easily than C4D but build the complex objects like castles and buildings in C4D and composite the images or import the assets. (note: TerraGen is not easy, just easier for scenery creation.)

well most arent hard to get get hang of once you know how the tools work, its mostly learning the new interface layout. and remapping hotkeys.

Okay, I could also do a little research on other programs to find out whats the best render settings, but I see your point.

Thank ya!  Ill look into it to create the terrain. this was more of an answer I was looking for.

I also wasn't sure if something like UE4 would work for my needs, though Ive never touched it.  I just know people say it can make some beautiful landscapes.

Cryengine is a good idea too, its a gorgeous looking engine, and it comes with tons of stock assets that look amazing
