Never mind, I was looking at different video of this type of monitor and they all have the same 1in black bar on the side and top but thanks for trying to help me.

I just bought the LG 21:9 ULTRAWIDE 29UM55 but it has 1in black bar on the top and the side. My GPU is 280x please help me it's making me angry.

if you are using hdmi you need to go into catalyst control and change the under scaling

Yes, I am using HDMI but I can't change the scaling options. When I use my Intel integrated Graphics their no black bar.

Are you missing small parts of your picture as in it's cut off at the top and side where integrated shows the full image?

It was working fine yesterday, but I move my desk and plug everything back and it looks like this now
