The G1 by Gigabyte will probably run cooler

AMD FX8350  -  2x ASUS Radeon R9 270X 4GB  -  ASUS Sabertooth 990FX  -  Crucial Ballistix Sport DDR3 16GB

Yeah. I'm fully satisfied with mine. Currently 1420 base clock wont give me more than 60C or so. 

Intel 4790 K - R9 295X2 - Gigabyte Z97-SLI - Corsair Vengeance Pro Black 1866 CAL9 - Corsair HX 1000 -Samsung 850 EVO SSD - Samsung HDD - H100I - Corsair C70 - G400 Logitech - Asus VS247H - WASD custom mechanical and QCKPAD! 

Staples of LTT: Getting an 4690 K will resurrect your lost family members, AMD = More heat thus AMD = Satan.

Yeah. I'm fully satisfied with mine. Currently 1420 base clock wont give me more than 60C or so. 

But the ftw has a higer base clock. Doesnt that mean i will get more fps with it?

You can over clock the G1 anyways.

Technically, yes. Will you notice it? Probably not. What you would notice, though, is the G1 will run cooler and quieter by comparison

Yeah but being cooler makes OC'ing easier. Out of the box based clock is moot except for either very low (strix) or very high (classified, HoF)
