RH00D

Thanks, Google!

A few days ago, Google went into a partnership with Softcard to presumably help Android's mobile payment technologies match that of Apple's own Apple Pay usage. This partnership had Google purchasing patents, intellectual properties and technologies from the provider as well as offering a commitment to the further marketing of the payment options among U.S. carriers. Upon news of this partnership, fear mongering Windows Phone users and fans immediately began the pitch of Anti-Google posturing. Questions about the fate of the technology on Windows Phone were brought into question, and today Softcard/Google answered.

Who wants to take bets on Google bringing Google Wallet to Windows Phone to make up for them killing Softcard on the platform?

Based on how they have yet to release anything but a half-assed search app for Windows Phone, I doubt they will.

Doubt it. Google support for WP is so pathetic it's actually embarrassing that MS can cobble together better apps than Google. Google won't bring anything over, even their iOS implementation is ass backwards.

Poor WP. It may really be a matter of too little. too late. It's a great OS altenartive to the others now.. if only devs/consumers gave it an ACTUAL fighting chance.
