Final Check Before Purchase - 4k Build

So I'm doing a final sanity check before I take the plunge and spend 4.3k (after shipping) on the PC I've been planning. This isn't entirely practical and I'm spending money on aesthetically pleasing choices rather then what might be the best for the price/performance. At the same time feel free to tell me I'm being stupid with my decisions if it is warranted. :P

 

So the theme is Red/Black (Because I like it.)

The goal is to game at a constant 144hz/fps @1440p on Max Details with as little compromise as possible. (Probably lowering the AA a tad due to the higher resolution.)

 

Additional Info : I live in Australia, things cost a lot.

No idea why are you aren't going with X99.

The system in my sig was $2990.

Defiantly something I have considered. The X99 Build I devised up adds an extra $500-600 to the cost, and whilst I really,really want to go X99. I probably will see 0 benefit as I truthfully don't do any editing/rendering, 3d work, etc. But still... tempting haha.

Give me atleast 30 minutes to put a list together that is $3000. Trust me, just consider it.

Well I ordered the Z97 Build. Had to switch out the Asus cards to Gigabyte in order to get it delivered before next year. :(. Oh well, I'll just have to mod the LEDS to Red when they get here.
