Does shield controller work on AMD only pcs yet?

the documentation on nvidias website claims you need a nvidia gpu for nvidia experience which has the driver for shield controller.

heres the problem, my main pc only has AMD hardware, I like the shield controller better than the 360 controller, i would like to use the shield controller for pc racing games.

where do i get the driver for the controller? i have it plugged in and there is no apparent detection under 'usb game controllers'

For now, you can't.

They are going to release the wireless mode first, after that maybe?

ah, well thats just too bad for nvidia, they really screwed up here, the trackpad on the controller makes a huge difference in usability.

still looks like the pos 360 controller will still reign champ for awhile longer.
