Elric from ToT apologises to those he was rude to in comments

Hey community! Not sure if this is supposed to be "tech news" but I figured general discussion was more appropriate. Move as you please!

 

 

As many of you know for the last little while there have been reports of Elric being rude to fans through comments. I personally have never experienced this, but of course that doesn't mean much. I like the guy though, and when I saw people complaining about this or criticizing Elric I always tried to defend him because I knew of his health problems and that in those conditions people tend to be very stressed and say things they don't mean.

 

In this video, towards the end, Elric apologises for any rude comment or edgy answer he's made in the fast few months, and as I expected he says the reason lied in his health issues. He also says he's past it now and he will make sure it doesn't happen again.

 

I believe him and I think good will matters more than the actual actions as long as no real damage is done, so I'm more than willing to give him another chance. What do you think?

Some people are dicks to him in his comments sometimes. Having problems with health and coping with jerks is an understandable reason to get mad.

Never encountered such comments, but at least he offered his apologies.

I have seen how he is mean in the comments. I mean i would be pretty pissed if my foot was cut off. I think that he deserves another chance.

Respect. Personally I don't watch his channel but have seen the reports as well, it's very nice that he recognizes the problem and apologizes for it.

Exactly.  I mean if I'd have just lost a foot due to a horrible illness then I wouldn't really want to deal with random asshats in the comments section.

 

It's good that he apologized but imo he didn't have to.

There's rude and then there's this. Basically, a guy messages Elric that he is a fellow YouTube and just suggests to him to tone done on the ads as they have been getting out of hand. And those two are the reply. I don't care if his apology is sincere, I am never going to support him.
