Logitech Performance MX Mouse Thoughts?

Darth Hideous

Hey guys,

Amazon currently have the Logitech Performance MX mouse on sale (http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Wireless-Performance-Mouse-Mac/dp/B002HWRJBM/ref=lh_ni_t?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER) and was just wondering if anyone has one, what their thoughts on it are? I've currently got a Mionix Naos 7000 and was looking at potentially changing to the performance MX as I don't game so don't really need the wired mouse. Is it worth the $50 or should I just stick with the Mionix?

Thanks.

I have the performance MX, and after getting the G502, I find it to be incredibly uncomfortable....I just don't like how tall the MX is.

The Naos is super comfortable and hard to beat in that area. Stick to it.

That's funny. I'm upgrading from a Logitech Performance MX to a Mionix Naos 7000. I would have random intermittent connectivity issues with the MX, which would require me to turn off/on the mouse. The sensor in Naos is far superior, and you don't wave to worry about wireless problems. So unless you are looking for a second portable mouse, for travel, stick with the Naos,

Thanks guys. Think I'll give this one a pass then  :)

The Performance MX was a cheaply made replacement for the MX Revolution, its not a great mouse IMO.

I've wanted a MX Revolution for a while now but since being discontinued the price has gone right up. I thought that the MX Performance mouse was the same thing. Apparently not. Thanks for clearing that up.
