How To Bleed My System?

How do I bleed my system. I currently have a red coolant running in my system and, I don't really like it (Loved it at the start). After a few months, the color seems darker and I don't really like it.

So my question is how do I bleed it out so I can add a different color.

I've heard people say to just empty it out and then run it with distill water until the red is gone. Not sure if thats the right way to do it. Anyone know and can help me?

I think that you will have hard time removing red color from system.

Yea that should be fine though depending on how long you have had it in there/what fluid you may have to get new tubing (if it is soft tubing) and clean the waterblocks and rads individually. sadly red is the hardest to remove but it can be done.

Red from what ive seen is the hardest color to remove, What you were told is indeed correct, I did that when my dad gave me his old pump/res combo unit for my loop. He was running a red coolant and i was planning to use mayhems pastel yellow, i had to leave it running DI water for two days (changing the DI water every few hours) before it was no longer discoloring

OK, I know red is the hardest to remove, I'm getting new tubing and a new pump, I have to clean the waterblocks and the rads, do I just drain it and let it run with distill water(all in tac) until the red starts to fade away a little then clean the rads + block individually?

I wouldn't recommend any color... If you can avoid them and just use colored tubing.

I'm going to run just distilled water for a while, at least for now, I'm still kinda stubborn :P
