Hdd turns off the computer when plugged in

Bombular

Hello I'm having some issues with a Seagate barracuda 7200.11 with firmware SD35. The problem is that it kills the computer when plugged in. I don't know what to do but I researched it and it said to check the tvs diodes with a multimeter and take the diode off of it gives a 0. Both of the tvs diodes are giving off higher than zero. Anybody have any ideas of what to do?

because the one you have doesn't work???

That doesn't help me get the data off it.

True. Maybe find a data recovery specialist in your area. That could help.

Send it into a center for data recovery.

No actually knows how to fix it?

The HDD's dying. You can try opening up the HDD for repair, but we don't know exactly what's happening to the HDD.

Do you hear any clicking sounds?

Better yet, just send it in for data recovery.
