Are these parts compatible?

Hi,
as the title asks are these parts compatible? I'm building a gaming PC from scratch and i'm pretty new at this. If there are any recommendations on the PSU as I don't have one yet or on the specs, all would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Sam

If that is for gaming it is complete overkill, if you are only using it for gaming get an i5 4690k and a z97 board. Also please follow your thread and respond to it. Welcome to LTT.

Also for psu get a fully modular evga psu, they might cost a bit more than their counter part but they are well worth it.
