Is this a good choice of a monitor for my build?

I am replacing my ancient php x19 with a newer monitor.I live in Ireland so I have to rely on retailers in the UK so I am looking on uk.pcpartpicker.com. I game a lot so that was a big factor.I have chosen the BenQ GL2460HM due to the fact that I cant afford to spend that much over £100 and it was one of the best in this price range that I saw.Is it a good choice?

Well, what is your build? And what do you plan to do with your system?

Also, what are the reason for your change of monitor? (basically, I am asking what bugs you from your current monitor that you are seeking to improve)?

When I play Skyrim in particular things look really really choppy even though it is telling me I am getting 40-60 fps I can play games at 20fps and this was completely unplayable.So I assumed this is a problem with the monitor.Plus the old one is only 1440x900 so I think this would take priority over a video card upgrade.
