I am looking for the best monitor for gaming under $130, I want 1080p but if there is a good monitor without it I am open to suggestions

Welcome to the forum brainsilly!

 

This monitor  is IPS (great colours and viewing angles), a decent stand and a 5ms (gtg) response time, which is acceptable even for competitive gaming.

 

If you do not like rebates, then this would be the one to go for.

Thank a lot for the recommendations, I think I will be buying the acer because it has a better look and fits my system quite well
