Budget Monitor Suggestions

Getting a second monitor for my laptop (I used to have one and they are just way too good for research and multitasking to not get one again) that unfortunately broke down. Now, I would like an upgrade from that crappy monitor to 1080p. Unfortunately, I am on a budget of approx £100 (give or take a tiny bit in each direction). I would primarily be using this for (as above) research (browser open in one screen and word in the other), watching youtube videos whilst talking to people on facebook, and following twitch chat whilst fullscreen on the stream.

 

I'd like the largest monitor I can get in that price range without giving up on quality, IPS isn't necessary, but good viewing angles are appreciated. I wouldn't mind buying something a bit older as long as it does the job.

 

So:

  • £100 budget
  • 1080p
  • 60Hz
  • as large a size as possible
  • okay viewing angles

 

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Any I/O preference or is just HDMI enough?
