F@h Client Causing Display Failure

So, I started folding a few days ago and I noticed if I set it so folding would begin upon login, my computer would load up to the login screen, then the display would fail. I changed the settings so I have to manually start up the client when I load in and my display works fine now, but I was wondering if anyone knew why this would happen and how I could fix it.

I have this problem too, but only when folding on my GPU.

 

I have a 6870 if it matters, i hope a solution is found soon

What GPU are you using? And the operating system?

 

Using a 780ti in windows 8.1

I'm running the exact same setup and I don't have any problems. You might be running the new graphics driver (344.11) which I know has issues. I'd recommend rolling back to 340.51-- this apparently is better for folding anyways.

dual 680´s on win 8.1 also!
