Using HDMI for BenQ XL2420Z LED Gaming monitor

TD. ReCap

Hi, I'm planning on buying XL2420Z monitor from BenQ for my laptop.

However, my laptop only has VGA and HDMI output and I want to run games at full 144hz.

So, my questions are,

  1. Can HDMI run 1920x1080 at full 144hz?
  2. If I can't run 1920x1080 at full 144hz using HDMI, using adapter for HDMI to either Display Port or DVI-D Dual Link help solve this problem?

thanks

No and I highly doubt your laptop could run games at above 60 fps(Besides Minecraft) anyways

Life.exe is missing

You must have a good laptop to push those frames, something like 860M SLI or 880M ideally
