Gaming mouse - Feedback on buttons needed

Amimoller

Hi,

I have been isong a Microsoft Intellimouse explorer 3.0 for many many years, buts this one is dying and so ive decided to get a real gaming mouse.

Since this mouse is optical i want the next one to be the same, i dont want any random movement when lifting the mouse to reposition it. From what i can tell most laser mice will have this problem to some extend.

I think my grip type is claw hybrid or something like that :)

I have some problems with the muscles used to click buttons and would really like a mouse where they dont require alot of force. I once tried to switch to a logitech G5, but it got uncomfortable to click faster than the microsoft mouse.

This is my problem since its not really something mentioned in most reviews and its pretty difficult to find a store around here where you can actually try the different mice.

I have mostly been looking at these mice, but im open to suggestions:

Razer DeathAdder 2013

ROCCAT-Kone-XTD-Optical

Logitech G502 Proteus Core

Thanks!

Personally I would suggest the G502 above the others, I don't think the buttons are difficult to press, but I also don't know what you consider difficult to press.

If you want a really easy to press mouse go for the Death adder.

You may also want to look at the G402, it is very similar to the G502, it is cheaper and lighter. It is lacking some things like the free scroll wheel and weight adjust.

EDIT: Shape wise the Razer Death adder would be most similar to your current mouse. But still, the only mouse I can recommend to you is the 502, it is the only one of these options I have used. I have heard of some people not liking the DA because of the over sensitive buttons.

If it isn't working absolutely perfectly, according to all your assumptions, it is broken.

Deathadder is the best, no doubt. The superior gaming mouse.

pfffhahahahAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH oooh that was funny.

I mean, I guess the 2013 stuff was ok, but seriously, G502 out of these.

I would honestly suggest the g400s (if you are mainly playing FPS). It is an all rounder (any grip is able to hold the mouse nicely and there are 2 mouse buttons for macro too)

The 502 does look like a great mouse, im just a bit concerned because of my experience with the g5 and the other logictech mouse i have at work. I guess i can always return it if it gets uncomfortable.

If you came from the MS 3.0 you have to get the Zowie EC1. It was delevoped alongside a professional CS player who had used the IME 3.0 throughout his career so the shape of the mouse is very similar to it. The deathadder is also a good palm mouse however if you are used to the IME shape then the Zowie would be more similar then it.

This.

CM Storm Alcor and SteelSeries Rival are also inspired by the IME shape.
