H75 making buzzing noise after re-seat

Go to solution Solved by airdeano,

@AyoItzYu

the H75 uses the plastical backplate (Asetek) with small threaded sleeves.

it is possible to have the mount jacked on one/many sides applying awkward

pressure on the cold plate/pump. makes sure the threaded sleeves are fully

seated in the back plate and the backplate is not warped (should be flat and

not riding on the socket plate).

As title says, I re-seated my cpu cooler a couple days back and now it is making a buzzing noise.

Any possibilities/Solutions ? Im pretty sure its not the screws.

Check your temperatures. Might be pump failure.

As far as I know, that isnt the problem because I've been playing 4-5 hours of diablo a day and when I checked yesterday, it was at 50C

Same thing happened to me with my h80i, than it got worse and worse till the pump was barely pushing anything.

if you have spare thermal past try reseating again.
