Netgear ReadyNAS NV+

Hello all, I have a pretty old Netgear ReadyNAS NV+ I would like to use for my PC, but every time I boot it up it says, "EROR: Bad firmware" I have looked on the Netgear website and haven't found a solution. Any help will be appreciated.
