How do you create a PNG file in C++? 

 

I need to create a PNG file and then write to it.

I'm taking one picture (from a png file) and rotating it 180 degrees and then writing it to another png file. The question is how do I create the target png file so I can write to it.

so your wanting to write a program in C++ that will allow you to open the picture then create a duplicate - but with the duplicate it will rotate it 180 degrees?

it will be very similar to this although it will most likely be quite a bit more annoying than that 

It would be alot easier to create it in C# as you have complete access to all the .NET features which would allow for a much more fluid application!
