How to decrease RPM on my fans?

Guest Onlynormalgamer

I just got new build. I have 2 fans on top(artic coolers),1 on front(artic cooler),and one that came with case,on the back. I also have Raijintek CPU cooler.
I want to decrease rpm of my fans,if that is possible. The only thing that is making noise in my case are them, and Since my room is cool enough, and I have good air flow in my case,I want to decrase them at least a little bit.
Is this possible?I installed fanspeed and openhardwaremonitor but it seems that the other one cant see fans, and I dont know how to set speed with fanspeed.
Can anybody please help me?

You can try checking the BIOS for any kind of fan control and set them to the "Silent" preset.

I am sorry but I would rather not messing with my bios because I really never like to mess with it. Also I just got build today and it was about 2500$ in my country so I dont want to do something lol

I will check this

If you have a spare 3/4 pin fan header (cpu) you can buy & connect a 12v to 5/7v adapter to reduce the rpm of the fans. If you're tight on budget then you can smash delete/f12 to go into your BIOS, then set them manually or according to pwn.

I heard that people do it with speen fan or some other programs. Is this possible as well?

Check out your motherboards website and see if there is any software available, if not then you can always get other ones like speedfan.

Or you can just set up a curve in your BIOS. Sometimes there are presets like ''Silent'' and ''Performance'' etc. You can simply select these too.

What motherboard do you currently have in your desktop? I believe you were referring to asus fan-expert software.

I'd either go into bios & turn them down manually or buy cheap fan voltages adapters.

Use speedfan! It's actually not that difficult to set up ( I have my intake fans at 100% all the time and exhaust fans which are temperature controlled) So i have positive pressure while idle (= less dust) and negative pressure while under load (=better cooling)

This is a video to help you! You can go to Configure--> Fan control --> advance fan control --> add fan and let them scale with either your CPU tempt or your GPU tempt! :) hope this helped!
