ASUS VX228H? How is it?

MattTheMayor

Looked around at pcpartpicker and I saw this. It seems pretty nice in my point of view. Do any owners have anything to say about it?

It uses a cheapy TN panel I wouldn't go with it. What is your budget for a monitor? And you can't really judge the color reproduction monitor based off a pic you see online :P

A Dell S2340M or Acer H236Lbid would do you just fine they are both IPS and have amazing color reproduction

I have one and it's not terrible, but you could very easily find a better one for your price range.

Is it a bad TN panel? Does it look decent compared to an IPS or is the difference very noticeable?

An IPS would look miles better than it IMO.

Not to completely steal the topic...but I don't think its worthy of creating a new topic, especially since its pretty much the same thing....

Are the Asus VS and VN series good? and would they be miles better than the VX series? (i.e. are they good ips screens and which is better--or are they the same, just the VN has speakers and VS does not?)
