Performace drops in BF3/4

How meany people have seen performance drops in BF3/4 threw resent patches on Nvidia(IDK about amd, don't have there cards yet), or to the game? In BF3 I am now only getting 3fps and in BF4 after the most resent Nvidia patch I only get 30fps. How meany other people are getting this same thing? I think this would be interesting to see... :D

Idk. 4 months ago when i recently built The War Horse i was playing BF3 60+ FPS. now about a month a friend asked to play BF3 and he has the same spec(bcuz i suggest him those parts) and i lagg ALOT and i mean ALOT! 10 FPS! DIDNT EVEN GET TO 30FPS!!!

  • Drivers are fully Updated.
  • BF3 is fully Patched
  • Low res and settings
  • gg battlelog. gg ea

Until now no one has solved my problem about this 10 FPS bf3

45fps to 3fps which happened in Mid-june (after Catalyst 14.4 I think)

My 780 has almost halved in performance on bf4

Hmmm... so it is not just nvidia drivers... So it is either EA, or EA paying for them to de-optimise the games... *Tinfoil hat engaged*

Possible fixes

  • Try Downgrading the Driver.
  • Reinstalling the driver 
  • Reinstall BF4
  • Check any background apps (samsung magician software seems to kill my performance when i play games.)
  • disable any overclock you may have been running
  • for anyone with an amd card that has a bios switch. try flipping the switch ex. MSI 270x Hawk

 

Ya i had a similar problem with my 270x where it would play 50s-70s then it suddenly drops to the 15s. Turns out after i quit samsung magician it fixed it self. if you don't have samsung magician then maybe some other program has similar effects.

Yeah, this is even happening on Nvidia Cards, SLI 780Ti's went from 140+ FPS Constant @ 1080p to sub 100 FPS. It is extremely bad on the Dragons Teeth maps where sometimes I dip below 60 FPS. This seems to have started since Dragons Teeth was released. Also there is a CTD upon exiting with my Nvidia cards, dont know if its related. It does it both on my Desktop and my MSI GS70 Stealth Pro Laptop

Same here... I supposedly have 3Mbps down but it doesn't happen...
