Windows booting issues Black screen Fast everything.

Okay so when I have a gpu crash which for some reason happens quite a bit my pc when restarted boots up to a blank screen making you have to restart again. After the first time it boots up really fast like the circle animation below the logo is really fast and even the Skype chime is really fast. Restarting many times doesn't help but by default after restarting twice it takes you to the blue error repair area. Clicking Restart PC from the PC Repair thing makes the computer boot up normally. Windows 8.1 Btw.

The fact that its crashing a lot would tell me there is either an unstable driver, faulty card or an unstable overclock. I would look at fixing this, then re-install windows.

I had the opposite problem with my faulty 6970 where it would Crash, reboot would be extremely slow everything appeared to run at half speed. Wouldn't work properly until the repair windows screen had come up.

Sent the card off and got it replaced, Problem solved.

Even normal reboots do this. Like just barely. I did Windows update and restarted booted to black screen. restarted black screen. Repair pops up. Restart Now. Boots normally.

Maybe just put your computer to sleep rather than shutdown.

Ah I see. In that case, did you check your PC's drive boot order in the BIOS? Set your drive where you installed Windows as the first drive
