780 or 780 ti or upcoming 880?

You need to wait around 3 months to get the 880, if you can want, then do it.

According to rumors the 880 won't be much faster than the 780 or the 780Ti, so if you can wait, wait, if you don't want to then don't, since you won't loose much performance.

You will never be on top of technoligy. If the 780 Ti does what you need, get it. If you wanna save a few bucks, wait a week after the 8xx series come out. They will probaly come out at the end of Q1.

as you said its upcomeing so we don't know  it the only thing i know but if you wait you will get a 780 for a cheeper price

There will always be another GPU or other PC components on the horizon. If you want a beast and you want it now? 780 ti. 780 if you can't justify the ti's price.
