need Help Choosing the Motherboard 

running the i7 4790K 

have an ongoing Thought for hero , but with Ranger out 

i am Considering it too

need Advice Family ?

if not i will pick another brand of mobo which is priced cheaper than the 2 above

If you got the cash for the Hero

 

I will pick him already over the Ranger

 

 

but personally I will pick the MSI Z97 Gaming 5 which is cheaper and has gaming audio, gaming LAN, M.2 SSD, etc

the difference between the Gaming 7 and 5 is the extra SATA ports and USB ports

 

unless you have like tons of HDD or USB devices

 

they are the same board

 

stick with the Gaming 5

If u had to stick with rog u should stick with ranger better priced with almost the same features

But in other hand the msi offers same features with even better price
