HDMI Output on Graphics Card

Whenever I plug in my GPU to a 1080p HDTV, the display comes out blurry and bad scaling. Is there a way to fix this?

under nVidia control panel

 

under display options 

 

 

look for adjust desktop size and position

 

apply following settings

 

set full screen

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

Also check your TV's picture settings - if there's an option for 1080p 'PC' or something similar try that (when I used to have my PC hooked up to TV, it was zoomed in until I selected the 1080p PC setting).
