  1. I'm loving that throw distance! Although, I'm a bit curious as to how the image would be affected if some sunlight ended up shining on the mirror, would it just reduce image clarity or would there be a more notable difference. My living room is a bit long with the windows behind the TV, I highly doubt it would be a deal breaker so I'm just curious more than anything else. Great to see a projector that's actually viable for people that don't have spare rooms to turn into home cinemas without a £1000+ price tag.

  3. Thanks for the give away guys. I've been itching for an upgrade for a couple of years so this would definitely go towards that.
  4. Linus, I remember 4 years or so ago when I first started to get into pc hardware, I was able to learn so much just by watching your videos. Thanks for the continued effort and congratulations on 1 million subs, you earned it a while ago.
  5. I like the aesthetics, with the red accents on simple but classy shaped chassis. If it's an aluminium build and finish that is resistant to fingerprints, well then that's a pretty nifty added bonus. Thanks for the give away guys
  6. Thanks for the give away Linus and HTC, I just love the design and build of the M8. So far the only real complaints I've heard are about the camera, but as Linus says, I'm not someone who prints the photos I take with my phone so that wouldn't bother me (standards aren't that high from the Nexus 4 anyway). I'm not a fan of upgrading my phone every year and the M8 definitely looks like a worthy companion for the next few years. Really tempted to get one.
  7. Read through about 3-5 reviews. This thing is quite the beast. Glad to see AMD put the Titan Z pricing to shame. Here's some review links: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/radeon-r9-295x2-review-benchmark-performance,3799-18.html http://www.anandtech.com/show/7930/the-amd-radeon-r9-295x2-review/18 http://hexus.net/tech/reviews/graphics/68381-amd-radeon-r9-295x2/?page=13 http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/graphics/2014/04/08/amd-radeon-r9-295x2-review/12 http://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/amd_radeon_r9_295x2_review,35.html From what I've seen in the reviews, at 4K, SLI 780tis can't keep up with this thing.
  8. All of the moisture in my body would be insufficient for the amount of tears I want to shed. To be clear, I don't think this will effect Oculus for the next few years, but further down the line, when we're actually invested in the platform, Facebook (just like most other big companies) is going to slowly fuck up everything we love about it. Fuck you Zuckerberg. I would be fuming right now if I was a Kickstarter backer.
  9. Rule of thumb is to predict the worst one. Humanity has a knack for hitting that kind of mark
  10. I don't quite understand the need for buying more than one ship, or even an expensive one at that. You have no idea whether your going to enjoy the game play or not, and if you do, surely you'll want to progress through it normally. I got myself an Aurora back in the Kickstarter and I'll gladly wait and work my way up to the larger ships when the game actually comes out. I want to experience that progression, I want my ships to develop as I learn the game in a way that I can actually use a ship to its proper potential. Buying larger ships and having them from launch will take away half the fun if you ask me. Its like paying to level up or something, your skipping a part of the experience. But eh, I guess everyone is looking for something different.
  11. Amazing work sir! Absolutely love it :D . Great attention to detail. Like the slots for the fans on the inside and the grills on the outside
  12. Very nice stuff! L3p's builds have a way of inspiring don't they lol. I've been planning a desk build in my head for ages. Gonna try and give it a shot this summer but I doubt it will be anything like what I have in mind, or anywhere near as good as yours for that matter. Got some funky ideas for what I'm gonna do with my reservoirs though ;)
