Hi there, I recently put a new ssd m.2 to my computer, everything fine, except that keeps freezing it, I mean it's random, but some application freeze, generally firefox because is the one that use the most, for example, i'm looking a video on youtube, and the video stops, but the audio keeps playing and appears the loading cursor, the everything stops working, I have tried open the task manager, but doesent respond, niether the power button for sleep mode, I can still move the cursos but I can't click anything, no desktop button, no open apps, etc... It's weird because I can listen the whole video, but everythin else is freeze. If you wonder, I did a clean fresh installation of windows on the ssd (evo 970 250 gb), I have installed the drivers for nvme, I also intalled Intel Rapid Storage for the HDD, maybe that is making some trouble?, I should re-install windows? I really don't want to, because I've failed once installing windows, so that implies one formating to the ssd.

I have an Asus VIVOBOOK pro n580vd dm538t, i7 7700 HQ, NVIDIA 1050 4gb.

Help pls :(

update the ssd firmware maybe?

are you sure the ssd is the problem?

maybe you can reseat the ssd. uninstall rapid storage.

looking at the problem seems to me its gpu related.
