Don't use anti freeze.

 

But if you use good quality products and make sure they aren't going to react to each other then you won't have an issue.

 

9 times out of 10 it's tubing that's the issue, not coolant

im using primochill advanced lrt

if you are reading this you are wasting valuable time and should maybe rethink your life choices.

ive seen many coolants that would separate from the dye and gunk up the heatsinks and rads after  time

Dyes have moved on since then.

 

Dont mix dye with glycol,it will clump and separate.

im still on the fence about all this. im using a clear dye that turns blue under uv. will it still gunk?

If you get any gunk in your loop it is most likely the fault of plasticizer leaching from the tubing, that is then dyed by the dye in the loop.

Yeah they can which is why I am going for clear tubing and clear fluid from now on.

That was from Feser UV Acid Green fluid that was in a loop for 6 months in my brother in laws pc.

 

It shut the pump down and clogged everything which caused the pc to shut off whilst at a lan, luckily it didn't take anything out and just needed a drain, filter and loop rebuild which took 2 days.
