currently running on my i7 3770k OC to 4.5ghz paired with rx580 8gb. (overpaid during mining crisis )

my issue is new games *bo4* *bf5* run only around 80-100 fps on lowest settings and using a 144hz monitor i would really appriciate getting close to that 144 fps to make it as smooth as possible.

games installed on olderish 2tb wd black drive. 16gb ram.

is crossfire a viable option? i only hear negative things about it , games not compatible or glitching. anyone have an ideas let me know! thanks!

You're probably CPU limited rather GPU limited, what is your % usage during gaming?

Also it gets to a point where if the CPU really is the bottleneck, keep decreasing video quality will do nothing to your fps as your GPU is literally not having any thing to work on while the CPU already is maxed out.

So don't just lowest settings every thing, find the balance of settings for a better visual gameplay and the same fps.
