The HUE is great for people who like the LEDs. If you think you'll like it then you will like it.

The 212 EVO is not exactly a very good looking cooler on anything. If you care about looks, you can consider the Dark Rock Pro 2 or the Dark Knight II.

Well i got one for Christmas so my experience is limited with it. I do find it really cheaply made. certain pieces of plastic on my power connector broke off the first time I put I hooked it up. and the wires are pretty cheap really the whole thing is cheap plastic. Despite its cheap build quality it works really well, the different modes plus the color mixer work very well once you figure out the controls etc, there is very poor instructions on that part. The leds are not on a piece of wire and are actually on a rather wide and thick bending gel like solid, so the strand is about 1cm wide. I found its width a bit of pane despite me having an full tower NZXT case. the actual LED strand length was just perfect for my full tower it did one full loop with a little extra.  The power cable was a little on the short side but I made it work. The brightness is great an I really like the unit so far.  I can posts some pics later if you want to see it up close.

Spoiler

Corsair 400C- Intel i7 6700- Gigabyte Gaming 6- GTX 1080 Founders Ed. - Intel 530 120GB + 2xWD 1TB + Adata 610 256GB- 16GB 2400MHz G.Skill- Evga G2 650 PSU- Corsair H110- ASUS PB278Q- Dell u2412m- Logitech G710+ - Logitech g700 - Sennheiser PC350 SE/598se

I'm also getting NZXT leds in my r4, but only white. Because I went over budget and I feel the surrounding colors take away from the real beauty anyway. Pretty jealous of the nifty panel though.

NZXT H440 l Inel Core i5-4670K l Z87-GD65 l MSI 780 Twin Frozr l Kraken x60 l Corsair RM 650 l Seagate Barracuda 2 Tb l Corsair Force GS 128 Gb l Teleios Sleeving l Acer H236HLbid l Corsair K70 Anodized Black l Roccat Kone Pure Color

I have a NZXT Hue and I really like it, the controller is nice and the LEDs are bright. You can also have any color you want. I was thinking about getting white LEDs for my case but I'm glad I got the hue because whenever I get bored of white I can just switch it to some other random color.

I would highly recommend getting it!
