Hey guys,
I got some parts picked out but im kinda debating on the mobo i should use.

That's with a B4500 mobo, the other one is ASRock AB350 Pro4. It's a little cheaper but i need to update the bios before installing the 2600 on it.

The other thing that i'm debating on is the GPU. A friend suggested i get a USED RX 580 4GB instead of the NOT USED 1060 6GB since it costs half the price.
What do you guys think?

RX 580 vs 1060 is a toss up, go with whichever is cheaper. Used will always help the budget.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

Thats a fine motherboard, though the B350 motherboards should have updated bios' by now- so you won't have to worry about it

GPU- get whatevers cheaper, they perform about the same

There's no 3gb RX 580, only 4 and 8.

Half price? Screw the 1060 and get the 580 then, better RAM is better but not when it cost twice as much.

B450 K4 has the same VRM as B350 Pro4, get the cheaper Pro4 if you don't mind using extra time to deal with the BIOS.

Looks fine but if an RX 570/580 is cheaper/same price buy that instead for free-sync savings.

are you sure the half price RX 580 actually works?

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?
