Which build before I buy

Go to solution Solved by Fasauceome,

If you're doing all gaming I either recommend an i5, or get a Ryzen 5 and spend some more on the graphics card

Ok, so these are my two builds. My main purpose for this pc is gaming, which for me, means the higher the frames, the better. Main game I play is Rainbow Six Siege. For other uses, I may try streaming, but it is unlikely I would do a lot of it. Also, I will not be running any editing or software programs for a long while, and by the time I do, I will probably just upgrade either build I purchase.

With whichever build you go for, I'd still advise you to grab a pair of 2x8 RAM. Team Force does have 3200Mhz for around $119.99 I believe on Newegg. I know it seems like a lot more if you're on a tight budget, but it's well worth it. Trust me.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

The i5 9600k also has similar performance to the 8700k, performing slightly under. A truly great chip.

Also, just gonna drop this here...
