So my Creative Wraith headset broke recently and I've been looking for a replacement. I do gaming with friends on skype so I need a decent mic. I can't compare the Wraiths to different gaming headsets but they are nice sounding to me so I also need decent sound quality and surround sound. Another need wireless I don't need anymore cables around my desk. A plus (not a need) is console compadibility since I do own a ps3 and connecting to my tablet and phone would be deffinetly nice. My price range is lower than 300$ or at 300 if I have to. Just to make clear I'm in the US so it needs to be available there. Some of the headsets I have in mind are the Skullcandy plyr 1's,Corsair Vengence 2100, and the Steelseries H. Thanks for your time and I apreciate the help

You should get a blue snowball and headphones tbh...

Console optimisations and how they will effect you | The difference between AMD cores and Intel cores | Memory Bus size and how it effects your VRAM usage |
How much vram do you actually need? | APUs and the future of processing | Projects: SO - here

Intel i7 5820l @ with Corsair H110 | 32GB DDR4 RAM @ 1600Mhz | XFX Radeon R9 290 @ 1.2Ghz | Corsair 600Q | Corsair TX650 | Probably too much corsair but meh should have had a Corsair SSD and RAM | 1.3TB HDD Space | Sennheiser HD598 | Beyerdynamic Custom One Pro | Blue Snowball

Linus has recent reviews on the Corsair and Steelseries headsets. The mic quality on both of them are meh at best. The best possible solution is to get headphones and a separate mic but that would mean no wireless.
