New GPU

AirSocial

So right now I am rocking an IGPU which is an Intel UHD 630. I have about a $230 USD budget. Please keep in mind I have a 450 Watt Power supply so it cant use too much power. Also I would like something that has RGB. I am fine with either AMD or NVIDIA. I play games like GTA V, Battefield so it has to be decent too. Thanks!

I would recommend a new PSU before getting a new GPU (like this one, it's on an insanely good sale until saturday). However that still gives you about $175 for a GPU. Ironically, this RX 580 is also on sale for $185, so if you can stretch your budget just a bit, that would be the best combo for you.

Clarification: Not recommending the PSU upgrade because you need the power (although it doesn't hurt), I'm recommending it because your current PSU is a fire waiting to happen

edit: so bad it's not even listed on the PSU Tier List

My Build, v2.1 --- CPU: i7-8700K @ 5.2GHz/1.288v || MoBo: Asus ROG STRIX Z390-E Gaming || RAM: 4x4GB G.SKILL Ripjaws 4 2666 14-14-14-33 || Cooler: Custom Loop || GPU: EVGA GTX 1080 Ti SC Black, on water || PSU: EVGA G2 850W || Case: Corsair 450D || SSD: 850 Evo 250GB, Intel 660p 2TB || Storage: WD Blue 2TB || G502 & Glorious PCGR Fully Custom 80% Keyboard || MX34VQ, PG278Q, PB278Q

Problem is this is being planned for Christmas... The PSU is basically brand new so I don't really wanna buy another one. I just got it last month for $45.

See edit, should have done some research first. Either way, the 580 is still within the wattage of your PSU.

...and maybe use the leftover money to get a slightly better PSU.

I don't know cause a rx 580 can use up to 225 watts when play games for a while. I might just go with a 1060 3gb or a 1060 6gb if the price lowers.

My 1080 Tis use about 240W each while folding/gaming. And that is OCed. So... if a 580 uses that much wattage, I don't know why anyone buys AMD GPUs lol

Is it still returnable? Cause honestly I would, and get the one I linked. It seriously is a really good deal. Fully modular, gold efficiency, and one of the highest tier PSUs according to the PSU tier list. Just sayin.
