RetroArch menu navigation issues

You need to provide more information, What system is RetroArch running on? (Windows? Mac? Linux? PS Vita? 3DS? Raspberry Pi?)

Desktop: HP Z220 Workstation, 12 GB RAM, 2x500 GB HDD RAID0, + GTX 1060 3GB

Laptop: ThinkPad T430, 8 GB RAM, 1x120 GB SSD

I realized I was an idiot and my D-pad was sticky.

I'm running Windows 8.1.
I'm having a sound issue now, but at least I can play the games.
