Looking to buy a new monitor for Christmas, anywhere the price of $300-$500USD is fine, lower is better but if higher priced ones have much better quality then that's fine.

it has IPS, but only has freesync and 60hz. If you are looking for g-sync, be prepared to spend another 300-400$.

Grab a 28" 4k led from samsung.  Just amazon it.  It is about 350 dollars,,,,, might be 400 at max.  Only difference is the LG is 34"  So its up to you my friend.
