Hey guys recently I replaced my GPU and formatted my HDD for a fresh install. Now I have a problem. When I put the GPU in the PCIE, it stops all output from my motherboard internal graphics. I dont have the drivers installed yet so now I cant boot the system with a video output and so cant install drivers for the card. When I save the primary video to IGFX in the BIOS, It automatically changes back to PCIE when I put the GPU back in. Any help? Would it be the motherboard battery?

Boot the computer with IGFX enabled and the GPU unplugged, then install drivers. Then shutdown, reseat GPU in the PCIe slot and disable IGFX in BIOS.

Please mention or quote me if you want a response. :)

Did you download incorrect graphic driver? Since you can get output from the gpu just install the driver like normal?

I can’t get output from the GPU, The only scenario I get output is when the GPU is taken out and the hdmi is connected to the mobo, but as soon as I put the gpu back in, I cant get any output from mobo (And of course the GPU doesnt output because the drivers arent installed

Even without driver it should have display. Something is wrong with your GPU. Try with another system to confirm it actually working.

If thats the case then its the motherboard that needs replacing as there was no display on my old GPU
